Join Dr. Eddie Vernon, DACM, for an evening of guided breathwork followed by a relaxing gong and sound bath.
Wednesday, November 4, 2026 • 6:00–7:15 PM
Central Virginia Wellness Institute
2358 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22401
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll begin with a guided breathwork session using intentional breathing techniques to quiet mental chatter, release physical tension, and encourage relaxation. Dr. Eddie will guide you through the practice, so no previous breathwork experience is needed.
From there, you’ll ease into a fully passive sound bath. Simply lie back and listen as gongs, plate bells, chimes, and other sound instruments fill the room. There is nothing to perform or get right—just an opportunity to rest, notice the sounds, and allow yourself to settle.
These two practices complement one another: the breathing session gives you a chance to become more aware of your body before the sound bath offers a period of quiet rest. Each person’s experience is different, and you’re welcome to participate at your own pace.
WHY JOIN US?
• Release everyday tension: Give yourself time to notice and soften the physical tension you carry.
• Make room for relaxation: Step away from the demands of the day and spend an evening focused on rest.
• Practice mindfulness: Use your breath and the sounds as invitations to return to the present moment.
• Reconnect with your body: Notice how you feel as you breathe, listen, and rest.
• Enjoy a sense of calm: The session is designed to offer a peaceful setting where you can pause and recharge.
